Anything that has to do with the Global Warming hysteria can bring lots of money to a smart investor in the UK, and not only through public funding, but though fooling people that they are saving the planet (?!), while buying your products or services.However, any such idea used to improve public transport is worth being cheered, this being the case with the above bus which runs on used cooking oil. Not that a few gallons of cooking oil burnt instead of diesel could make such a big difference in keeping the atmosphere clean, but anything that takes cars off streets seems a good thing to me.
For this purpose, even using the Global Warming Scarecrow seems justified enough. And, of course, the interiour of this company’s vehicles looks and feels better than that of Videanu’s awful Citaro buses (for sheer lies about their qualities – click here, for the truth about them – click here), as I bet few Brits would be that keen on saving the planet, if they travelled by bus in Bucharest :-(
I don’t know how exactly they do it, but the bus runs as smoothly as possible (there’s no need for high speeds in a city), and it simply doesn’t leave any smell behind. McDonalds cooking oil stinks, but this bus doesn’t. So, leaving aside all the ideological bullshit of this Global Warming Hysteria, all in all such a bus it’s another good example from the UK.
